Writer (b. 9
September 1927, Bahadınlı village / Yozgat). He graduated from Pazarören
(Kayseri) Village Institute (1944) and Ankara Gazi Institute of Education
(1950). He worked as Turkish teacher at İspirit Secondary School and in various
Village Institutes (1951-58). He established Hür Publishing House in 1958.
Entering political life, he became parliamentary deputy of Yozgat for the
Workers Party of Turkey (1965-69). He went to Germany before 1980.
Apart from
the books that he published under his real name, he wrote dictionaries and
anthologies with the pen name Aydın Su. His articles appeared in the journals Yeditepe, İmece, Varlık. His book İki Dünya Arasında (Between Two Worlds)
consisting of some of his stories was translated into German and published in
1980 and Geçeneğin Karanlığında (In
the Darkness of the Passageway) was translated into German and published in
1984. He is a member of the Writers
Syndicate of Turkey, the Turkish Authors Association and the Turkish Language
Society.
