Poet and writer (b. 28 June 1961, Ankara). He attended Akagündüz Primary School (1973 and graduated from Gülveren High School (1979) and Gazi University, Press Vocational School (1987). He worked as a civil servant at the Ministry of Agriculture in Kastamonu for a time (1980- 87). He has worked at the Ministry of Culture General Directorate of Copyrights and Cinema since 1987. He is a board member of Türdav Publications and children’s literature editor at Tutibay Publications.
His poems and articles were published in the reviews Mavi Kırlangıç, Sur, Kümbet, Kervan, which he published (6 issues, 1998) and in the newspapers Zaman and Objektif (4 issues, 1995), which he published. His first book was serialized in the newspaper Türkiye (1996- 1998) before being published. He is a member of the Writers Union of Turkey and Children’s Literature Writers Union. He came third at the short story competitions of Kandil Publications and Kombassan- Esra Publications in 1984.
