Poet and writer (b. 5 January 1920, Malatya - d. 1993). He graduated from İstanbul High Scholl for Boys (1941). He started in journalism and worked for the newspapers Yeni Sabah, Hergün and Dünya and then he worked at the “Sleeping Wagon Company”. He wrote anecdotes in Dünya and Tercüman. He managed his own bookstore named Minnetoğlu Kitabevi (1961).

His poems and articles have been published in the magazines Yedigün, Her Hafta, Kaynak, Aile, Edebiyat Dünyası, Hisar, Türk Dili, Türk Düşünces. At first he first used syllabic meter in his poems, but later he changed to free verse.

POETRY: İstanbul'un Fethi (The Conquest of İstanbul, 1953), Kıbrıs Destanı (The Legend of Cyprus, 1959), Ağvan (Agvan, 1960), Sevgiler (Loves, selections from his poems, 1979).

TRAVEL LITERATURE: Vagon Penceresinden (Through the Window of a Railway Car, 1959).
