Gazi Institute of Education (Gazi University Faculty of Education) Department of Art-Teaching

Painter. Born in 1952 in Çorum. He graduated from Çorum Primary School (1970), Gazi Education Institute Department of Art-Teaching (1973) and Atatürk Education Faculty of Marmara University (1986). He worked as a teacher and administrator in schools connected to the Ministry of National Education. Later he became an academic member in Marmara University, in the Atatürk Education Faculty. He continued this duty until his retirement in 1998.

He worked as an executive board member, chairman and regional representative of the professional association (TÖB-DER) in the period in which he worked connectedly to the Ministry of National Education. He worked in executive boards and work committees of UNESCO AIAP National Committee and International Plastic Arts Association. He published the association’s magazine Yayın, Atölye Gün Işığı and Pentürk Hayırlı Fanzin. He prepared the program of MEF private primary and high schools for plastic arts education teaching. He wrote the book titled Bir Yaprakta Bütün Dünya which contained the life and art of the artist Veysel Günay. He worked as a curator for Bursa Festival, Modern Turkish Painting Exhibition, and Present to the 75th Year / Turkish Plastic Arts Exhibition organized by Bilim Sanat Gallery and prepared their books to publish. He joined numerous national and international exhibitions starting from 1972 and realized 58 personal exhibitions.
