Writer
(b. 1 March 1934, Malatya
– d. 14 October 2014, İstanbul). He graduated from Ankara University,
Faculty of Law (1968). He was imprisoned for ten years in his youth because of
the Ahmet Emin case. For a period of his imprisonment, he stayed in the same
prison as Necip Fazıl Kısakürek and Osman Yüksel Serdengeçti who were tried for
the same case. He worked as an adviser and general secretary at the Ministry of
Agriculture (1975-81) and the Ministry of Health (1984). His works were published
in the newspapers Serdengeçti, Yön,
Milliyet, Beklenen Vakit (Akit) and in the review Rahmet. He has continued to work as a columnist on the newspaper Akit since 1992. He is a member of the
Ottoman Foundation and the Human and Culture Foundation.
