Historian, political
scientist, diplomat. She was born in 26 February 1946, Istanbul. He graduated
from Anıttepe Primary School (1957), TED Ankara College (1964), Faculty of
Political Science, Ankara University (1968). She did her post graduate at
Diplomatic Academy of Vienna between 1975 and 1977. She was conferred the title of doctor at
the Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara University in 1979. She was promoted
as the associate professor in 1998. She worked at the Department of International
Affairs, Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara University as an assistant
(1971-75), at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs as a career employee (1977-97) and she worked at Ministry of Culture as
the assistant undersecretary (1997-98).
She held office at Turkish Embassies in
Copenhagen, Galo and Pretoria in the position of diplomat and worked at
Consulate General of Turkey in Milan. After 1999, she has worked at Ankara
Atılım University as the head of Department of International Affairs. More than
thirty articles of her about political history and international affairs have
been published in Cumhuriyet newspaper
and various magazines. She is a member of the Association of Literary Scholars
and Association of Turkish Language.
