Writer (B. 1934, Gümüştepe village / Şarkışla / Sivas – D. September 6, 1990, Istanbul). His father was an Imam and he placed him next to teachers to teach him Arabic in Tutak district of Ağrı when he was five years old. He was left next to mollas and sheikhs when he was around 8-9 years and learned religion and Arabic. He learned writing and reading after twenty years when he was serving in the military (1955-1957). He received his primary school diploma after completing his military service via external examinations. He taught Arabic and to students and teachers at higher schools in Istanbul. He won the Mufti examination and worked as a preacher and mufti in Tekirdağ (1958), Sivas, Tokat, Manisa and Sinop. He stopped believing in Islam when he was a mufti in Sinop.

He quit being a mufti in 1965. He started to work at TRT in 1966 and hosted religious programs. His programs were criticized by public and were banned because of the issues such as Evolution theory and disfavoring religion. He worked as expert in TRT. He criticized the Islamic belief in his articles at 2000’e Doğru journal and his books. He was a victim of unidentified murder.
