Journalist and writer (b. 1921, Artvin – d. 22 July 1997, İstanbul). He attended primary and secondary school in Artvin. He graduated from Haydarpaşa High School (1940) and Istanbul University, School of Economics (1947). He started in journalism at the newspaper Tasvir as a correspondent (1944). He also wrote articles in this newspaper.

He founded the Türkiye Ticaret Postası with Ecvet Güresin in 1947. He worked as a columnist in the newspapers Akın, Siyaset Zafer, Adalet and Son Havadis. He served in parliament as the Justice Party İstanbul deputy for two terms. He received the Nationalist China Liberty Service Award.
