Researcher and writer (b. 1932, Nicosia / Cyprus – d.
21 March 1995, Nicosia / Cyprus). Graduating from İstanbul
University, Faculty of Dentistry, he worked as a dentist in Cyprus. He wrote
political and cultural articles in the newspapers Cumhuriyet (Cyprus), Savaş,
Söz, Yenidüzen as well as in the magazines Beşparmak, Çevre and Yeni
Kıbrıs from 1958. He is known for his research on the history of Cyprus. In
1986 he shared the Turkish Bank Award with Harid Fedai for his work Bir Zamanlar Kıbrıs’ta (Once upon a Time
in Cyprus).
