Poet and writer (b. 9 February 1952, Tunceli). For more than twenty years he worked as a teacher in Antalya and İstanbul and worked as a writer on the newspapers Yeni Ortam, Günaydın, Hakimiyet, Gözcü (1976-96). His first poem Ah Çocuklar (Oh, Kids) was published in the review Somut in 1978. At present, he writes for the newspapers Yeni Binyıl and Foto Maç as a professional sports writer. One of his poems was set to music by the original music artist, Ekrem Ataer. He won the Ömer Faruk Toprak Poetry Award in 1987.

POETRY: Güneşe Sarın Beni (Wrap Me Around The Sun, 1982), Dillerim Lal (My Languages Are Ruby, 1987), Ateşler İçtik (We Drank Flames, 1991).

SHORT STORY: Bir Küçük Serçe (A Little Sparrow, 1993).

ESSAY: Mavi de Kirlendi (Blue Has Become Dirty Too, 1994), Aşkım, Ülkem Bitmez (My Love, My Country Will Never End, 1997).

RESEARCH: Kral ve İmparator (The King and the Emperor, about Oğuz and Aykut, the famous footballers of the Fenerbahçe Team, 2002).
