Researcher and writer (b. 21 February 1942, Şarkışla / Sivas). He attended Cumhuriyet Primary School, Sivas High School (1960) and graduated from Istanbul Technical University (1965). He completed his master’s studies at Brussels University on environmental issues and his doctorate studies at Hacettepe University in the field of anthropology. He worked as a civil servant and project director in state organizations from 1965. From 1984 he worked as a freelance architect and retired in 1990.

His first essay “İki Kültür” (Two Cultures) appeared in the magazine Yazko Edebiyat, later his works were published in the magazines Adam Sanat, Yazko Edebiyat, Berfin Bahar, Dost, Milliyet Sanat, İkibine Doğru, Aydınlık, Bilim ve Ütopya and Teori. In 1992 he was given the Turan Dursun Enlightenment Award for his work Ortadoğu Din Kültürü (Middle East Religious Culture). He is a member of the Chamber of Architects and the Âşık Veysel Association.
