Novelist (B. 1952, Muhipler village / Gediz / Kütahya – D. 2008, Istanbul). He graduated from Ankara Imam Hatip School secondary section, Kütahya High School (1973) and Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Social Sciences Department (1995).  He went to Goethe Institute in Federal Germany and when he returned to Turkey he continued to METU Administrative Sciences Faculty and Erzurum Ataturk University Business Faculty for a while (1982). He worked as translator and pollster in State Statistics Institute (1976-77), as Office Manager in Ministry of Customs and Monopolies (1978) and then he dealt with free trade in Gediz. Then, he worked as a translator in Kütahya (1983-85), as an imam-hatip in Istanbul.

He published his first tales in Dumlupınar newspaper in Kütahya, Şeref Benekçi’s first novel Dikenli Topraklar also was published in same newspaper daily. In the coming years, his essays and tales were published in Yağmur (Erzurum), Türk Edebiyatı, Devlet and Töre magazines. He received motivation prize with his navel file Yabancı Açlıklar in 1977 Dündar Taşer Novel Gift. He is a member of Turkey Writers Union.
