Literature,researcher. She was born in Develi/Kayseri in 21 March 1922. She completed her primary and secondary school education in Develi and completed her high school education in Kayseri. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Language and History Geography Turkish Language and Literature Department. She began to work as an assistant in the same university. She studied her master with the thesis titled “Fuzuli-Hafız, İki Şair Arasında Bir Karşılaştırma” (1955). She received her PhD. in the same place in 1951.

She became an associate professor with her thesis titled “Nedim’in Divan Şiirine Getirdiği Yenilikler” in 1965. In 1962, she became a professor with her presentation thesis titled “Fuzuli, Farsça Divan, Edisyon Kritik”. She got retired when she was head of Ankara University Faculty of Language and History Geography Ancient Turkish Literature Subdivision. Her articles over fifty were published in different magazines. And also she attended to many national and international congresses. She is a member of Turkish Language Association.
