Poet (b. 1965, Kirkuk / Iraq). He
attended primary, secondary and high schools in Kirkuk. He completed his higher
education at Mousul University, Faculty of Physical Education. Between 1992 and
1996, he worked as a teacher of physical education in Kirkuk. During these
years, he produced and presented sports programs on Kirkuk Television. In 1996,
he moved to Turkey. Between 1999 and 2002, he worked as the Turkey
correspondent of Türkmeneli Radio, Television and Newspaper, which made Turkish
broadcasts in Northern Iraq. He is a member of the Iraqi Union of Teachers and
Writers of Literature (1993), the Union of Radio, Cinema and Television Workers
of Iraq (1995), the World Union of Young Turkish Writers (vice chairman and
general coordinator, 2000), the Anatolia Professional Association of Owners of
Scientific and Literary Works, the Professional Association of Scientific and
Literary Work Owners of Turkey, the Azerbaijan Union of Writers and the Writers
Union of Turkey.
During the years he lived in Iraq,
his poems and prose were published in the newspaper Yurt, which was published
in Baghdad, and in the reviews Kardeşlik and Birlik Sesi (1989-96). After he
moved to Turkey in 1996 his works appeared in the reviews Kerkük, Kardeşlik,
Yesevi, Anasam, Duygu Seli, etc.
