Poet,author (b. 1929, Ödemiş / İzmir).
He also used the pen name H. Vasfi Uçkan. He completed Ankara Technical
Institute . He graduated from NCO Officer School(1950) He became an officer
after he had been succesful in the exam. He has worked as NC officer for seventeen years and officer for fourteen
years in The Turkish Army .He retired when he was a captain .He has worked in
Turkey Radio and Television Corperation for thirteen years. In addition he wrote
plays for radio and televisions.
His first poem was published in a
news paper in Ödemiş (1964) Later on his
poems have been published in Varlık, Türk Dili,Yeditepe, Yeni Ufuklar, Kaynak,
Beş Sanat, Yenilik ,Şiir Sanatı Rewievs.
