Writer of humour (b. 2 September 1929, Gönen / Balıkesir). He completed his education at İzmit Art School for Boys. He worked in various factories beginning in his childhood. He retired from the Turkey Cellulose and Paper Factories Inc. and continued his studies in İzmit. He is a member of the Turkish Union of Writers.

His humorous stories and articles were published firstly in the newspaper Demokrat Kocaeli and then in the reviews Dolmuş, Akbaba, Pazar, Zübük and in the newspaper Cumhuriyet. His novels Neler Yapmalı (What is to be Done?) and Büyük Usturalar (Big Razors) were serialized in Cumhriyet. He won the first prize in Akşehir Nasrettin Hoca Humor Story Contest with his story Öküzlük Üstüne Nutuk (Speech about Dim-wittedness).
