Poet and writer (b. 1916, Mucur / Kırşehir – d. 1991, İstanbul). He used the pen name Âşık Dindari in most of his poems. He attended primary school in Mucur. After graduation from Adana Teacher Training School (1938), he worked as a teacher at primary schools in Anatolia and İstanbul and retired in 1968. During his years as a teacher, he spearheaded the publication of the newspapers Mucur (1956-62) and İslâm-Türk (1960-64) in Kırşehir. He established the Defne Printing House and printed some of his books here. He was a printer in İstanbul.

He had the opportunity to publish some of his catalogues, anthologies and dictionaries. In his work with the title Örneklerle Basılı Bütün Şiir Kitapları Antolojisi (Anthology of All Printed Books of Poetry with Examples), he succeeded in collecting examples of all poetry books published from the late Ottoman years to 1975 in Turkish. He also wrote many encyclopedias, which were as commendable as his anthologies.
