Writer (b. 8 July 1930, Erzurum - d. 17 March 1998, İstanbul). He graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Literature, Department of Art History (1953). He did his training in museum work in America. He worked at the Byzantium Institute connected to the Haghia Sophia Museum (1960-75). He worked as an instructor at the Fine Arts Faculty of Ege University and at the Institute of Cinema and TV at İstanbul Fine Arts Academy. He retired from here in 1982. His art critiques were published in journals and newspapers as Yelken, Ataç, Dost, Vatan etc. He made cartoons and short films. In his later times, he worked as columnist for the newspaper Zaman.
