Haldun Halûk Marlalı

Playwright (b. 14 April 1926, İstanbul). His full name is Haldun Halûk Marlalı. He graduated from Ankara State Conservatory, Department of Theatre (1949). He worked as a stage manager at the National Theatres, as a teacher at Ankara State Conservatory and retired in 1991. He lives in İzmir at present. He is a member of the Turkish Union of Writers. He won the State Theatres Honor Award in 1984.

POETRY: Masal (The Fairytale, 1968).

ADAPTATION: Ademin Kavuğu (The Turban of Adam, Kleist, 1971), Goldoni'den Üç Güldürü; Otelci Güzeli, Gelin Kaynana, İzmirli İmprezaryo (Three Comedies from Goldoni; The Beautiful Hotelier, Bride and Mother-In-Law, The Impresario from İzmir, 1984), Aynaroz Kadısı - Derebeyi Oyunu (Judge of Aynaroz  – The Overlord Play, from Musahipzade Celal, 1993).

STUDY: Mimik-Rol Alıştırmaları ve Temel Tiyatro Bilgisi (Mimic-Role Practice and Basic Theatre Knowledge, 1974), Oyuncu Dediğin (The Person Who You Call an Actor, 1990).

His translations from English have also been published.
