Sufi, poet (B. 1574- D.
1664, Istanbul). He used the pseudonyms of Fenayi and Uskudarli Fenayi in his
poems. He is a Celveti sheikh. He joined Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi through his brother
Ahmed Çelebi. He sent as a caliph to Simav by Hüdayi. He returned to Istanbul
after the death of his sheikh (1628). He was assigned to the position as chief
of lodge of Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi replacing Mesud Effendi while he was a sheikh in
Ilyas Çelebi Lodge at Tophane. He died while conducting this duty.
