Storywriter (b. 1951, İnegöl / Bursa). He graduated from İnegöl High School and Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Geophysics Engineering (1978). He has written in different literature magazines since 1985. With his book Patika (Footpath, 1987) he received the Yaşar Nabi Nayır Short Story Award, in 1996 with Uzak Noktalara Doğru (Towards the Far Points), the Said Faik Award and with Başkasının Rüyaları (Another’s Dreams) in 2003, the Writers Union of Turkey Short Story Award.

SHORT STORY: Pazar Güneşi (Sunday Sun, 1983), Patika  (Footpath, 1987), Temmuz Suçlu (July is Guilty, 1990, Foot Path and July is Guilty together, 1998), Yalnız Uyuyanlar İçin (The One Who Sleep Alone, 1996), Uzak Noktalara Doğru (Towards Far Points, 1996), Bilinen Bir Sokakta Kaybolmak (Being Lost in a Known Street, 1987), Dört Duvar Beş Pencere (Four Walls, Five Windows, 1999), Fırata Karışan Öyküler (The Stories Flowing into the Euphrates, 2001; a collaborative work from 15 story writers, with designs by Tan Oral). Gemiler de Ağlarmış (The Ships Would Cry Too, 2001), Başkasının Rüyaları (Another’s Dreams, 2003).

NOVEL: Dönüş (Return, 1998).
