Novelist and journalist (b.1892 İstanbul-d.1949 İstanbul) He completed his primary and secondary education in private schools. He graduated from Mercan High School and Faculty of Political Sciences.1912.He started working as journalist in his school years He worked in Yeni Gazete,Milli Ajans,Servet-i Fünün,Vatan between the years 1918-1925. He worked as a publishing director and chief-editor in Karagöz News paper .He had to leave his work because of an article which published in Milliyet News paper (1928) He has published Köroğlu Newspaper since his death .He worked as humorous author in Son Posta News paper .In addition he published a humorous rewiev titled’Ayvaz’ between the years 1936-38. He was selected deputy of İstanbul from Democrat Party in 1946. However his official report was refused.His grave is in Zincirlikuyu Cemetry.
He became wellknown with his popular novels on social changing in the First World War and later years in Turkey. He has reached the readers widely. He is the initataive novelist of serials. He spoke to the people in his works on daily matters..Topics ofhis novels have lived in İstanbul He told the life and people relationship in this direction. He did not worry about art. His most important aim was to be read by the people and to let te people inform about social changes after the republic.He has got nearly fourty novels. He published the first politics news paper in Turkish Press
