Poet (b. 17 December 1956, İğdecik village / Salihli / Manisa). He graduated from Salihli
Industry Vocational School (1976). He works at the second district directorate
of İzmir State Water Works. His first poem, Gitsem
(May I Go) was published in the newspaper Yeni
Asır in 1973. He had his later poetry published in the newspaper Yeşil Bornova and in the reviews Teos,
Tını, Size, Şiir Defteri, Kirli, Kırkmerdiven, Çağdaş Türk Dili, Damar,
Minerva, Berfin, Beşparmak, Yaklaşım and
Bahar. Someof his poems have been translated into Bulgarian and English. He
was the Turkish Office Secretary of the International Cypriot- Balkan- European
Turkish Literature Institute. He is a member of the Language Association and
the Turkish Authors Association.
