He lived in 16th century.
He is the son of Isfahan Shah. His real name is Ahmet Mirza. It is told that he
was the character of famous folk story “Kerem and Aslı”. He was a bard, who
said love poems with a clear language, in a sensitive way, appropriate to
traditional structure of folk bards and saz
bards. These poems contained especially the desires, intensity and yearnings of
the Anatolian people and it is possible that a part of these poems were not a
product of Aşık Kerem’s own.
