Actor, director and writer
(b. 5 April 1928, Mersin). He graduated from Galatasaray High School (1943), Robert
College (1949) and Yale University (1952). He worked as an actor and director
at the Dormen Theatre (founder), İstanbul City Theatres, the State Opera and at
some private theatres and on television.
He has
written plays and nearly 100 scripts for radio and television. He has worked as
a lecturer at İstanbul University Faculty of Literature, Department of Theatre
and as an art consultant for the Turkish bank, Interbank. He has written
articles on art events and the theatre for Milliyet
(8 years), Hürriyet (3 years) and
similar newspapers.
