Writer (b. 15 July 1962, Ulubey / Ordu). He completed his primary and secondary education in Ordu. He graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Literature, Department of Philosophy (1984). He started working at Van High School for Boys in 1985. He transferred to Gazi University, Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of Philosophy as a research assistant in 1986. He finished his post-graduate education with his thesis “Metafizik Disiplinin Gelişimi ve Felsefe Tarihindeki Rolü” (Development of Metaphysics Discipline and Its Role in the History of Philosophy) and his doctor of philosophy thesis, “Dil Açısından Ahlâk Felsefesi ve R.M. Hare” (Philosophy of Ethics in the Aspect of Language and R.M. Hare) in the same department in 1987 and 1995 respectively. He served as a lecturer at Gazi University, Faculty of Education between the years 1988-92 and as a research assistant at Gazi University, Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of Philosophy after 1992. He became assistant professor in 1996. In 2001, he transferred to Sakarya University, Faculty of Science and Literature. He became professor there in the same year. He became the Dean of the Faculty of Education between 2002-2005.

His papers and essays have been published in journals and reviews such as Türk Yurdu, Türk Edebiyatı, Yeni Düşünce, Millî Kültür, Gençlik, Saylak, Girgin, Millî Eğitim, Türkistan, Sosyo-Politik Yaklaşım, Felsefe Dünyası, TYB Kültür ve Sanat Yıllığı, A.Ü.İlahiyat Fakültesi Dergisi (Ankara University Faculty of Theology review). Also a caricaturist, his humorous articles, essays and cartoons have been published in humor reviews such as Çaylak, Hoca Nasrettin, Gırgır and journals and reviews such as Yeni Düşünce, Millî Kültür, Gençlik, Türk Diplomatik, Gündüz since 1977. Since 1995, he has presented papers at congresses and symposiums. He collected the Writers Union of Turkey 2002 Essay Award with his work Hacivatın Hüznü (Hacivat’s Melancholy).
