Journalist, writer. He was born in
Istanbul in 1951. He graduated from Saint Joseph High School and Ankara
University Political Sciences Faculty. He worked as Brussel Aydınlık Newspaper (1978-79) and later
agent of Güneş newspaper. In the following
years he continued to same job for Ak ajans
between 1979 and 1983, for Cumhuriyet
and Güneş newspapers between 1983 and
1991 years. He worked as columnist in Hürriyet
newspaper for 21 years between 1991 and 2012. He continued to write as a
columnist in Taraf Newspaper after
2012. He received Columnist of the Year Award of Journalists association in
1991.
