Poet (b. 15
November 1950, Selendi / Manisa). He attended primary and elementary
school in Selendi. He enrolled in

was published in the review Güneş (in
Salihli) in 1964, and his later works appeared in various reviews. In 1972, he
edited the arts page in the newspaper Demokrat
İzmir. His poems were translated into German. He received an honorary
mention at the Vedat Güler Poetry Competition with his work Düşümdeki Alevle (With the Fire in My
Dream) and collected the Humanist International Poetry Award with Yaprak Yorgunları (The Fatigue of
Leaves) and the M. Sunullah Aksoy Poetry Achievement Award in 2000 with his
book Gitmelerin Güzüyle (The Autumn
of Departures). He is a member of the Writers Syndicate of Turkey and the
Turkish Authors Association.
