Diplomat and poet (b. 1912, Ankara - d. 30 June 1996). He graduated from Ankara High School for Boys (1931), Mülkiye Mektebi (School of Political Sciences) (1935) and the Political Science School of Liege University in Belgium (1939). Firstly, he served as a member of Directorate General of Press and Information, Research Commission, (1943) and worked as the Principal Clerk in the Office of Prime Minister (1945).

Then, he worked as the General Secretary in the Foreign Affairs Department at the Cyprus, Tehran and Oslo Consulates (1963) and at the Brussels (1964), Rome (1966) and Moscow Embassies (1969). In 1970 he became Foreign Affairs Counselor. In 1972, he retired from the position of Secretary General to the President, to which he had been appointed in 1975. He is known for his quatrains and publications relating to Bektashism.
