Poet (b. 7 September 1947, Adana). He is the grandson
of Ozan Kabakçıoğlu from the Aşağı Maden Village of Artvin. His mother was of
Circassian descent. He attended Şar Village Primary School, Ankara Atatürk High
School and graduated from Gazi Institude of Education. He did his postgraduate
studies in Anadolu University. He has worked in different jobs. His profession
of Turkish and literature teaching has been interrupted often with
investigations and exiles. He retired in 1996.
His first poem İnsanlar Sence (People its Up to
You) was published in the review Öğretmen Dünyası (October 1987), his
other poems have been published mostly in the
review Damar and in the reviews İnsancıl, Türk Dili, ABC,
Öğretmen Dünyası, İzlek and Yaba Öykü. He is a member of Writers
Syndicate of Turkey and the Language Society.
