Author (B. 1875? – D.
1913, Istanbul). After completing his education at Mulkiye School, he worked as
district governor. He was murdered on his way to Basra for duty. Bedi Nuri is
among the prominent intellectuals in his era, and his writings were published
in journals such as Ulûm-ı İktisadiye and İçtimaiye Mecmuası. He dealt with the development of knowledge
in society from the perspective of evolutionism, similar with Mustafa Satı
during his era. According to Bedi Nuri; as society consists of living
organisms, social philosophy should naturally rely on biology.
