Poet (b. 1 August 1963, Mersin).
His full name is Necmi Ersin Zekâ. He has also written under the pen name Aytaç
Antmen. He graduated from German High School and Boğaziçi University,
Department of Political Science. He completed his master’s study in the United Kingdom (Leicester
University) with his thesis “Akıl ve Adalet” (Reason and Justice)
although he did not complete his Ph.D. study that he had started in the same
country (Northwestern
University). After his
return to İstanbul he worked as a researcher at Boğaziçi University,
a translator, in advertising and as an advisor in broadcasting.
His poems and articles have been published since 1978 in reviews such as Varlık, Adam Öykü, Kitaplık, Hayalet
Gemi, Kaşgar, E, Sanat Olayı, Semaver, Defter, Argos etc. He won the 2003
Antalya Golden Orange Poetry Award with his work Yavru Aslandan Konu Komşu’ya (From the Lion Cub to the Neighbors).
He opened his first personal painting exhibition at Sabancı University’s
Kasa Gallery in 2002. He has had two exhibitions in total. His has translated
books; his compilations and poetry books have been published. He is still
giving lectures on the Ideas of Modern Art and Ideas of Post Modern Art at Yıldız Technical
University.
