Yaprak, etc in the following
years. He received the Ali Rıza Erten Poetry Award in 1988 with Yazılmamış Mektuplar (Unwritten Letters), an Honorable Mention at
the Akademy Bookshop Poetry Award with Eski Bir Çocuk (An Old
Child) in 1989, the Yaşar Nabi Nayır Youth Poetry Award in 1991, the Orhon
Murat Arıburnu Poetry Award with Çamur
Şiir (Mud Poem) in 1995 and the
Cemal Sureya Award of 2000 with his folder Şiddet Evet (Violence
Yes).
