Playwright (b. 1940, Emirdağ / Afyon). He lost his father when he was very little. He is the youngest of 2 brothers and 5 sisters. He studied by working. He attended primary and secondary schools in Emirdağ, high school in Eskişehir. After graduating from İstanbul University, Faculty of Literature, he worked as player in İstanbul Municipal City Theatres (1960-75). He gained fame by his play Çatallı Köy (Çatallı Village, 1989) which was adopted as TV serial after staged for years. His play Çatallı Köy (Çatallı Village) in which he shows Afyon folklore was translated into Italian by Rome University, professor of Turkology Anna Masala.

PLAY: Çatallı Köy (Çatallı Village, staged in State Theatre and published in, 1966), Türkmen Düğünü (The Wedding of Turkmen, staged in State Theatre, 1975).

STUDY: Türkiye'de Tiyatro Kavgası (Theater Fight in Turkey, 1977), Türkiye Neden Böyle (Why is Turkey Like that).

ESSAY: Batı Masası (West Desk, 1998).
