Writer (b. 1897, Diyarbakır - d.
1961, İstanbul). He was the son-in-law of Ziya Gökalp. He graduated from
Diyarbakır Military and Secondary School. He worked as a teacher in Diyarbakır,
İstanbul Vefa and private Italian High Schools for thirty-five years. He
published the review Yeni Hilal in 1924 (22 issues). He wrote his works
with the intention of defending and spreading the ideas of Ziya Gökalp, whom he
accepted as a master.
