Ali Kaya

Researcher-writer. He was born on March 30, 1958 at Cibikan / Dalören (Pakira) village / Hozat / Tunceli. He graduated from Hozat Dalören Primary School (1968), Elaziğ Devrim Secondary School (1972), Tunceli Male Teachers' School (1976), Istanbul Ataturk Education Institute Social Sciences Department, Ankara University Faculty of Education Inspection Department (1982), AU Social Sciences Institute Education Planning Department and Anadolu University Department of History. He has completed his graduate studies in Education Sciences Faculty and Anadolu University (1993).

He worked as a primary school for a while after 1976, and as a history teacher since 1979. Along with his position as a teacher in Istanbul, he has continued with his studies as a researcher and writer. His articles were published in journals and newspapers such as Dersim, Karacaahmet Sultan Dergisi, Berfin Bahar, Karaca Ahmet, Cem, Demokrat, Ehl-i Beyt, Radikal and Çağdaş Yaşam since 1995. He is among the founders and also an executive board member of Tunceli Education and Health Foundation. He is an Executive at Dersim Solidarity Committee and member of Writers' Trade Union of Turkey.
