Poet and writer (b. 12 May 1949, Şinik village / Akçaabat / Trabzon). He attended Trabzon İmam-Hatip High School (1966) and graduated from Kayseri Advanced Islam Institute (1970). His thesis was Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'in Tefsirine Duyulan İhtiyaç (The Need for the Interpretation of Koran). He worked as teacher and principal in Gerede, Akçaabat and Trabzon (1970-95). He worked as lecturer at Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon Vocational High School of Theology (1995-99). Then, he worked in private organizations.

His first article, Hidayet İslâmdadır (Happiness is Islam), was published in 1968 in the newspaper Bugün and his first poem was published in the same year. He other works and poems were published in newspapers such as Bugün, İleri, Türkçesi, Millî Gazete, Sebil, Zaman, Hergün and in reviews such as Millî Kaynak, Ezgi, Millî Gençlik, İcmâl, İslâmî Edebiyat, Çağrı, Çınar, Birlik; (director of publishing) Yunus, Tarih and Medeniyet from 1968. He won the seventh prize in the research article competition held by the newspaper Yeni Asya on the Gulf War in 1991, the research prize of the review Yunus in 1993 and received an honorable mention from the newspaper Ortadoğu in the same year. He is member of the Black Sea Writers Society and the Professional Association of Scientific and Literary Work Owners of Turkey.
