Journalist-writer (b. 1938, İzmir - d.10 September 208, New York / USA). He graduated from İzmir Private Turkish Collage (1955) and İstanbul University, Faculty of Law. He continued his career of journalism which he had began in the newspaper Ege Ekspres (1954), in the newspapers Yeni İstanbul (1955), Vatan (1956-62), Milliyet (1963-80). He became a lecturer in İstanbul University, School of Press and Publishing (1987).

He wrote articles on economic issues in the newspaper Milliyet and he moderate the debates which men of thought and art were participated, in his column “Düşünenlerin Forumu” (Forum of Thinkers). His cinema critiques and articles about varied issues were published in the reviews Vatan, Yedinci Sanat which he published with Tarık Dursun K., Yeni Sinema (1960-62) and Yeni Dergi.
