Poet (b. 10 January 1940, Lefke / Cyprus - d. 2010, İstanbul). He graduated from the Ankara Gazi Institute of Education (1961). He worked as a teacher of Turkish at secondary schools in Cyprus. With his poems, published in the reviews and newspapers in Cyprus and in the reviews in Turkey such as Dost and Varlık since 1954, with great emphasis on social issues, he followed the line of the Second New Movement.
