Poet and translator (b. 1958, Ankara). He attended primary and secondary schools in Ankara. For a while he studied at the Sociology Department of the North London. He graduated from South Bank University, Department of Social Sciences (London). His first poems were published in the magazine Edebiyat (1976). His later poems were published in Diriliş, Mavera, Aylık Dergi, Yeni Devir, Oluşum, and his translations from Turkish to English were published in various European magazines. He was among the founders of the review Aylık Dergi together with Yaşar Kaplan, Faruk Uysal, Adnan Tekşen, Ahmet Şirin and Alaeddin Özgür. He published an international journal in English called CORE with Feyyaz Kayacan in London.
