Political
scientist (b. 1935, Gaziantep). He attended Dayı Ahmet Ağa Primary School and
İstanbul First Primary School (1947) and graduated from İstanbul High School
for Boys (1951) that he started at Galatasaray Lycee. Afterwards, he graduated
from St. Georg Austrian Lycee (1956) anmd Istanbul Academy of Commercial
Sciences (1960). He earned his PhD (1971) on Science of Politics at İstanbul
University, Faculty of Economics with his thesis “ABD ve SSCB'nin Genç Ülkeler Siyaseti” (New Countries Policy of the
USA and USSR). He worked as a teacher at various high schools in İstanbul and
principal clerk of Minister of Industry as well as his self-employment since
1973. He has worked at a private company since 1969.
His first
articles were published in the school newspaper Çağrı / Ruf in 1955. Later on, his articles were published in the
reviews Babıalide Sabah, Millî Işık, Türk
Edebiyatı ve Boğaziçi and weekly
newspaper Gözlem and Zaman (1992). He wrote under the
pseudonym Celal Bozkurt E in his various articles and books. He won the 1978
Historical Heritage Protection Foundation Encouragement Award for thought with
his book Kemalizm, Marksizm ve Ecevit (Kemalism,
Marxism and Ecevit). He is a member of İstanbul Intellectuals Guild, Turkish
Literature Foundation, Galatasaray Sport Club and Foundation of Service to the
Turkish Culture.
