Poet and writer
(b. 2 September 1930, Larnaka / Cyprus). He signed some of his works as Ali
Sedat Törel. He completed his master’s thesis at Hacettepe University. His
master’s thesis was on “T.S. Eliot'un İlk
Şiirleri” (The Early Poems of T.S.
Eliot, in English). He completed his PhD at Atatürk University. His PhD
thesis was “İnsan Aklına Dayalı Otomatik
Çeviri” (Automatic Translation
Based on the Human Mind, in English). He retired after working at the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (1966-1979) and
at Cumhuriyet University (1981-97). He is a member of the Professional
Association of Scientific and Literary Work Owners of Turkey
