Cartoonist, writer (B. 1923, Istanbul- D. 2000). His full name is Ferruh Doğan Akdilek. He graduated from Parmakkapı 45th Primary School and Taksim High School. He quit Istanbul Faculty of Law when he was in fourth grade. He entered to Sublime Porte with the children’s magazine Doğan Kardeş and humor magazine Şaka when he was thirteen. His first cartoon was published in Şaka magazine in 1945. He worked in Doğan Kardeş, Pazar Postası, Hafta, Yeditepe, 41 Buçuk, Dolmuş, Kim, Tef, Taş-Karikatür, Akbaba, Ant, Özgür İnsan, Toplum magazines and Cumhuriyet, Milliyet, Yeni İstanbul, Vatan, Akşam, Dünya, Ulus, İstanbul Ekspres magazines and journals. His album Asrileşen Köy was recalled from the market in 1956. He received many awards in domestic and international cartoon contests in Italy, Belgium and Yugoslavia. He had an Honor Diploma in Italy Tolentino. His works were published in many foreign countries. Some of his cartoons took place in Tolentino International Humor Museum in Italy. He worked in Cartoon Foundation Advising Committee with Hıfzı Topuz, Mahmut Tali Öngören, Tan Oral, Vecdi Sayar, Önder Şenyapılı, Süleyman Coşkun, Haluk Ünsal and Nezih Danyal. He made illustrations for the books of many authors.
