Poet and translator (b. 1897, Ağın / Elazığ - d. 1976). He attended primary school in Ağın and secondary school in Diyarbakır, Elazığ and Konya. He worked as an examining official at the Elazığ Provincial Office, as a teacher of literature at Nafia State School of Science, a member of the Translation Bureau and at the Turkish Language Association. He retired while he was working at the Exchequer and Audit Department (1961).

His articles were published in the newspapers and reviews starting with Dicle Osmanlı, Ocak, Babalık, Yeni Fikir (Konya), Donanma, Servet-i Fünûn and Karagöz (İstanbul). He wrote humorous verses under the pen name “Yobaz”.

Kırkından Sonra/ Gönül Sazı (After Forty/The Baglama of the Heart, 1939).

COLLECTION: Gönül Bahçesi (Garden of the Heart, 1969).

In addition, he translated from English and prepared collections.
