Playwright (b. 1925, Çorum – d. 31 January 1990, İstanbul). He completed his primary and elementary education in İstanbul. He started to work after discontinuing his graduate study. His stories were published in the review and almanacs of Varlık. He is known for his radio plays.

His first radio play was Pirinç Mangal (The Brass Brazier) broadcast on Ankara Radio in 1966. Kuruntu Ailesi (The Neurotic Family), which attracted notice, was broadcast first on the radio as a radio play and then on television as a series.

WORKS:

Radyo Tiyatrosu ve Piyes (Radio Play and Theater, 1965, In this book, there is a play named Guguklu Saat (Cuckoo Clock) and he gives technical information of writing radio plays. This book was published under the name of “Techniques of Writing Radio Plays” in 1970), Kabzımal Cemile (Fruit and Vegetable Wholesaler Cemile, play, 1966), Hamido Kaçırıldı (Hamido was Kidnapped, play, 1967), Satılık Şapka (Hat for Sale, 1968, five comedies of one scene each. Brahms Kapıyı Çalınca (When Brahms Knocks On the Door), Her şeyin Hayırlısı (The Good of Everything), Bayram Çorbası (Festival Soap) and Cankurtaran (The Lifeguard) were performed at the İstanbul City Theaters.
