Playwright. He was born in Istanbul in 1919. He went to high school in different cities. He was the student of Orhan Şaik Gökyay and Necmettin Halil Onan. He graduated from Faculty of Law (1943) and Ankara University Language History-Geography Faculty (1952). When he was a student in philosophy department, he also received some lessons in theatre department and received a certificate. He began to write plays since 1952. He worked as an officer at different institutions, as an inspector in Labor and Agriculture (1958-62) Ministry. He began to work as a specialist in 1962. During his duty as a specialist, he taught literature and philosophy in Ankara Yenişehir College between 1966 and 1971. He was retired from his duty as a state officer in 1973. After his retirement he wrote plays.

When he began to write, his tales, essays and critics were published in Varlık (1950) magazine. Later, they were published in Hisar, Çınaraltı, Seçme Hikâyeler, Millî Kültür and Türk Dili magazines. He won first prize with his play Malazgirt in a contest organized by Konya Selçuklu Association in the memory of 900th anniversary of Malazgirt victory (1981). Many of his plays were staged on State Theatres and Istanbul City Theatres. His thirty plays were published in eight books. His fourteen plays were broadcasted on TRT Radio in “Arkası Yarın” programs. Also his life and art works examined as a thesis in Kocaeli University in 2003-2004 academic year.
