Painter, proffesor (b. 1956, Diyarbakir - d. 07 July 2017, Bişkek / Kyrgyzistan). Graduating from Bursa Education Institute, Department of Fine Arts Education, he has completed his Bachelor's degree at Gazi University, Gazi Education Faculty, Department of Painting. He has completed his "Master's", "Competency in Art" and "Doctoral" studies at Gazi University Social Sciences Institute, Department of Fine Art.

He worked as a Art teacher at several schools of Ministry of National Education; and as a lecturer at Gazi University, Gazi Education Faculty, Department of Fine Art between the years 1986-1994. He participated in the establishment of Isparta Süleyman Demirel University Fine Arts Faculty and worked as Vice Dean and Fine Arts Department Chair between the years 1994-1999.

He worked as a lecturer at Selçuk University, Education Faculty, Department of Fine Arts Education, and Subdivision of Painting between the years 1999-2009. He worked as Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University Fine Arts Faculty Dean between the years 2009-2013.

He has conducted artistic and cultural reviews abroad (Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azarbaijan, Tataristan, Macedonia, and Russia). He taught at schools in Tataristan for 6 months in 1997. He has conducted studies about Idıl-Ural Region Turkish arts. He was invited to the Second Turkic World Painters' Meeting organized in Bursa by TURKSOY (Turkish Culture and Arts Joint Administration) in 1999 for the 700th Anniversary of Ottoman Empire to represent Turkey.

He has participated in more than thousand mixed and group exhibitions both at domestic and international levels. He participated in several contests and received 17 awards. He has opened 81 individual exhibitions, domestic and international. He was a jury member in several exhibitions and contests. He was in the editorial and referee boards of academic journals.

Besides the individual exhibitions in important capitals of Turkish Cultural Geography from Macedonia to Mongolia; he painted, conducted artistic and cultural research and made speeches in conferences.

He has several works in many private and public collections and museums; and he is one of the founding members of Ankara Painters' Union. He has also participated in Turkish Fine Artists Occupational Union (GESAM) as a founding member and executive board member.
