Poet (b. 1957, Gazioğlu / Tekirdağ). After graduating from Batman High School (1974), he came to İstanbul and studied at İstanbul University, Press and Publishing College. His poems were published in the reviews Yeni Türkü, Sanat Emeği, Türk Dili, Yazko-Edebiyat, Üç Çiçek, Yönelişler, Gösteri, Milliyet-Sanat since 1978. He was among the founders of Yeni Türkü and Üç Çiçek Publishing Houses. He translated poems from Spanish. He received first rank in the 1980 State Academy of Fine Arts Culture Festival Poetry Contest and Cemal Süreyya Poetry Award with his book, Zaman Haritası (The Time Map) in 1992.
