Theologian. He was born in Ankara on April 16, 1962. He was graduated from Ankara Seyhanbağları Primary School (1977), Ankara 50th Year Secondary School (1980), Ankara Merkez Imam-Hatip High School (1985), Ankara University, Faculty of Theology (1987). He studied his master’s degree in Manchester University Middle Eastern Studies Department in 1987, with the thesis titled Religion and State in Saudi Arabia; he completed his PhD. at the same department in 1991, with the thesis titled “Law and Sales in the Works of Marwazî, Qudûrî and Sarakhsî”.

Firstly, he began to work as an imam and orator in Ankara in 1980. In 1991, he began to work as a specialist in Religious Affairs Administration Religious Affairs Higher Council. Since 1992, he has been working as a lecturer in Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Theology Basic Islam Sciences Kalam Subdivision.

He has been publishing his copyright and translation articles in Türkiye Günlüğü, DEÜ İlâhiyat Fakültesi Dergisi, Polemik, Türk Yurdu, İslâmî Araştırmalar journals since 1994. He presented papers about his field in symposiums.
