Poet and writer (b. 1917, Akhisar /
Manisa – d. 11 November 1986, Sofia / Bulgaria) He graduated from Balıkesir
Primary Teacher School (1936). He studied at the State Conservatoire,
Department of Theater after having worked as a teacher for two years. He
published many radio plays while he was working at Ankara Radio. He wrote for
reviews such as Yeni Ufuklar, Şadırvan and Yücel. He died in Bulgaria where he
re-settled after 1950. Some of his books were published in Bulgaria and some in
Turkey. He became known for his short stories.
